The KickbackLove Drunk Viewing Party.  DP Muller Photography Co.  Omaha Ne.
Cool.  Composed.  Unruffled.  Papered up front door.  Candle lit, vine covered, back entrance.  DP Muller’s studio transcended the average indie drenched, chill vibe, music milieu with vocal vibes resonating the wood floors, the brick walls and the bodies, fused together by the narrow space.  With only a projector screen lighting their faces, Brad Hoshaw, local musician who runs a hostile in Benson for fellow traveling musicians, very rad, Rachel Tomlinson Dick, of Honeybee & Hers and Hawk Feathers, creating soul rising sounds, Arirang, with a dread flipping drummer, and The Kickback, charismatic edge, shrewd rage performed Saturday.   The celebration was in honor of The Kickback, out of Chicago, shooting their second LoveDrunk video.  Cheap red wine, PBR, perfectly cornhusk wrapped tamales and velvet sofas tucked away in the basement fostered the music militants while bands rotated through. A spontaneous recording by LoveDrunk lead the crowd outside to the gravel; sitting amidst the circle, Hawk Feather, face to face, one holding a guitar, one the others knees, rocked back and forth as they graced the ally with their voices.  Hear Nebraska and LoveDrunk, a crucial break through to the other side.
